I hope all of you had a happy father’s day weekend, I know I did. It sure was busy. We went to the Smith mountain lake for a family reunion of people we didn’t know because it was a reunion for my hubby’s uncle-in-laws side of the family. Kayaking, boat riding and swimming were the highlights of that event and just watching the babies enjoy the lake and water since they are of age was fun as well. I got to spend time with my dad and treat him at a local coffee shop along with my little family and a few of my brothers. I would tell you more about the weekend, but it was extremely busy.
Some highlights:
-I got a ton of outfit photos done
– I bought my hubby a play station 3 for a great deal from his cousin as a Father’s Day gift (he doesn’t want a 4 yet)
– got a late birthday present, a Michael Kors purse from my aunt-in-law whom got it for $10 at a yardsale, a lovely purse to.
– got a free lunch on Father’s Day from my hubbies aunt and uncle.
– treated my dad at a local coffee shop to a pastry.
– went to my father-in-laws church for Father’s Day (he is the Pastor).
-spent time with loads of family members and my kids, so far a lovely and worth while weekend.
