Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me Link Up for Tuesday

I normally don’t post on Fridays, but I just wanted to let you all know that this coming Tuesday, Feb. 10th “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up will be back so that you can link up any post you would like from fashion, parenting, crafts, DIY, recipes, anything. I will feature my favorite 5 in the next Tuesday link up post. I have missed hosting this link up since December but am ready to get things back in full swing. Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me #15 Link

Hello and welcome to the 15th link up for Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me. I want to thank the numerous new and come back bloggers who linked up last week, there were so many awesome and inspiring posts that it was hard to choose my favorite 5 to feature today. I hope you will enjoy those featured today and meet some other lovely ladies linked up. I wanted to also report that this will be the last link up of 2014. You can still link up and come back next Tuesday to see my featured 5 ladies but I just won’t have a link up widget up next Tuesday. I want you to be able to enjoy the Holidays and New Years coming. As I mentioned in this post here I will be taking a break for most of the month of January but will resume blogging again in either late or early February. DIY/Fashion:

Heather of @thriftstories.me linked up a very intriguing post on how she thrifted her sweatshirt and then created the gems design on it. Her idea was to spend less money creating something trendy than spending butt loads of money on something similar sold in the stores. Hop on over to this post here to see how she did. Doesn’t her look just remind you of the 90’s grunge? Hello Claudia, Noami, etc.

Jill of @dousedinpink.blogspot.com linked up an adorable DIY holiday décor project under the cost of $5. She created these adorable mason jar holiday scenes décor that I think you will enjoy trying for yourself, I know I will. You can check out what she did and materials here.

Fashion:

Hannah of @sweeterthanserenity.blogspot.com linked up a beautiful holiday dress that I think is just stunning for those already here or coming holiday events, plus who doesn’t want to party unless in some glam and sparkle. You can view the entire outfit post here.

Leanne of @classyyettrendy.com linked up a fun Aztec printed cardigan and boots combo that I just loved. I have been looking into getting ankle booties in this same color so of course her look inspired me with just one of the many ways to style my future tan or camel colored booties. I also like how she added a dresser look to her outfit with the lovely statement necklace.  You can view her post here.

Ashley of @fabellis.com linked up a nice review of her new L’egg pantyhose and I reminisced to my younger days where these were THE PANTYHOSE in my families household so I believe in them. I don’t wear pantyhose much anymore (I am a leggings girl what can I say) but I just though Ashley looked lovely as she made a summery look go fall/pre-winter with just the touch of ankle booties and long sleeved shirt. Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me link up 10

Today I welcome you to my fourth link up of “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” (click on the link to view older featured bloggers). I enjoy reading other blogs and being inspired, but as promised I chose 5 bloggers who linked up to feature this time around (thank you to all 18 that linked up to my third one last Tuesday).
Lately, I have been doing this link up series every Tuesday, but as this coming week and weekend are going to be busy for me I will not be featuring “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up next Tuesday, but I plan on getting things back in full swing again the following Tuesday. Dawn Lucy of @fashionshouldbefun.com linked up a cozy fall look and is not only sporting her adorable new fringe sweater (which I love) but her new reading glasses. I have been dreaming for awhile to own a comfy and cozy sweater like Dawns for awhile now, and she just looks absolutely cute in hers.  To read up more on what she is up to with these glasses  and look check out her post here.

DIY Tutorial/Fashion:

I am glad to have recently met and been in contact with blogger Amanda of @sansscrubs.blogspot.com. She not only reminds me of my childhood friend in personality and looks but she is just a fun loving person with a fun blog. Today I am featuring her DIY tutorial on how to turn a scarf into a vest. I tried this yesterday and just loved how easy peasy it was, and I wore my scarf like that over distressed flared jeans and simple shirt while running errands. I will post her picture and then mine below it showing off the results.

Travel:

Shannon, of @onestylishmom.com linked up a post on her travel adventures to Manhattan. Her post actually made me want to travel there and NOW! I have been wanting to go to NY for awhile now, but it just doesn’t seem practical with 4 kids that are young right now. But anyway I digress. Shannon takes you on a tour to her subway adventures, cupcake shops, NY style pizza shops and much more. You can visit her post here to read up on more of her trip with her hubby.

DIY crafts/Home Tour:
